Another version of the song, "No One Would Listen," sung by Gerard Butler, is even more heartbreaking!
It is sung to the same tune, by Butler, and with different lyrics. It was deleted from the film because Webber didn't want people to sympathize with the Phantom too much, which happened anyway D':
